Human flag at Zabeel Park
The Stargate UAE National Day walkathon at Zabeel Park in Dubai on December 7 will include the formation of a human flag and a treasure hunt.

Fireworks in Abu Dhabi
Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi is to hold one of the largest fireworks displays in the world at 8.30pm on Wednesday, December 2. The 45-minute display will see fireworks set off from 12 barges floating offshore, reaching up to 2,000 metres in the air.

All Women Unity Drive
In Sharjah, Al Qasba will host the All Women Unity Drive on December 2, which is an official National Day event registered under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Youth. Sponsored by the Women Auto Racing Club (Warc), the Unity Drive is a campaign to encourage female patriotism throughout the UAE as club members drive through all seven emirates, starting from the capital of Abu Dhabi and ending in Fujairah.

Live music performances
Other concerts from December 2 to 4 will be held at Abu Dhabi Corniche, and in Al Ain and the Western region. The activities include a heritage village, a muppet show, and live performances by Arab artists including, Nancy Ajram, Al Wassmy, Fadel Shaker, Mohammad Abdo, Hussain Al Jasmi and others.

Creek Park in Umm Al Quwain
In Umm Al Quwain, Creek Park will host similar traditional bands and UAE military band performances daily from 5pm to 9pm. There will also be a Unity Parade for cars. The gathering will start from 5.30pm to 6pm in front the park.

Arabian horse shows in Al Ain
Al Ain Heritage Village will host events such as a fireworks display, laser and water shows, Arabian horse shows, exhibitions and bazaars from December 2 to 5 from 4pm onwards.

Emirati singers in Fujairah
In Ras Al Khaimah, Al Qawasim Corniche will host traditional band performances from 5pm to 9pm in addition to fireworks and a water carnival. The RAK Sports Club will host a music concert by famous Emirati singers including Faiz Al Saeed (pictured) and Aryam on December 2 from 4pm onwards. Saqr Public Park will host the launching of 1,000 balloons in the flag's colours from 5pm to 9pm.

Traditional tents in Fujairah
In Fujairah, the corniche will host several activities, such as the Union tents (including a tent for henna and traditional food, etc) from 5pm to 11pm daily. The corniche will also host a boats carnival, starting from 5pm, in addition to other traditional plays and competitions.

Abra and boats parade in Dubai
On December 2, there will be an abra and boats parade (Sinyar) in Dubai, starting at 2.30pm from Al Shindagha and Al Seef Abra Station.

Ajman City Centre activities
In Ajman, the Ajman City Centre mall and the Corniche will host several shows of traditional dances and UAE military bands, daily from 5pm to 9pm.
