UAE Health Ministry launches nation-wide awareness drive on H1N1 flu
The Ministry of Health on Wednesday launched a nation-wide campaign to educate members of the public about H1N1 flu (Swine flu).
Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Health on Wednesday launched a nation-wide campaign to educate members of the public about H1N1 flu (Swine flu).
Dr Ali Bin Shakar, Chairman of the Technical Health Committee on Combating Swine Flu, urged the public not to panic as all preventive measures have been taken.
He said a joint working team from the Ministry and Health in Abu Dhabi and Dubai would give nationals and residents tips on preventive and curative measures.
He appealed to the public to observe instructions issued by the ministry and report any suspicious case to enable the ministry to take precautionary measures.
