Sharjah blood transfusion centre offers new toll free number

Sharjah: The Sharjah Blood Transfusion and Research Centre launched its new toll free number (800-BLOOD or 800-25663) to receive queries and customers' opinions on how it can provide the best services.

This is part of efforts by the Ministry of Health to enhance the role of customers and achieve a fast and flexible service by the Sharjah Blood Transfusion and Research Centre to the public and donors in appreciation of their support.

Dr Ameen Hussain Al Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for Medical Practices and Licensing at the Ministry of Health and Chairman of the National Blood Transfusion Committee, said that the toll free number provides the best electronic services for the customers and replies to their questions with efficiency.

Community members may contact the number in Arabic and English at any time during working hours.

The Sharjah centre has the first service in the Middle East in which all information is filled out electronically.
