Private school in Sharjah shut after 6 children test positive for swine flu

The Sharjah Education Zone has ordered a private school to close after six students were diagnosed with swine flu, reported the local Arabic daily Al Khaleej. The school was asked to postpone running its classes until after the Eid holidays as 72 other students were suspected to also have contracted the virus.

Sharjah: The Sharjah Education Zone has ordered a private school to close after six students were diagnosed with swine flu, reported the local Arabic daily Al Khaleej. The school was asked to postpone running its classes until after the Eid holidays as 72 other students were suspected to also have contracted the virus.

The school was visited by a medical team to ensure that measures were taken to contain the spread of the virus, said the daily.
