The ‘Making it Our Business' breast cancer awareness programme focuses on urging US and UAE charter companies to adopt and apply this programme in their companies.
The UAE charter companies include the Dubai Chamber, Dubai Holding, Emaar Properties, Dubai World, Al Ghurair Group of Companies, Al Tayer Group and Eisa Saleh Al Gurg Group. The US charter companies include General Electric, General Motors, Johnson & Johnson, Federal Express and Microsoft M.E.
It aims at urging the charter companies to hold two-hour programmes at companies on breast cancer awareness and early detection and to provide fact sheets.
