Herbal medicine seized in raid
Inspectors from the Department of Economic Development raided a herbal shop and seized almond oil purported to have healing properties.
Ras Al Khaimah: Inspectors from the Department of Economic Development on Friday raided a herbal shop and seized almond oil purported to have healing properties.
The oil was in demand but was not cleared by the Ministry of Health. A small bottle of the oil was priced around Dh80.
Hamad Al Shamsi, the department's Deputy Director, said the production and expiry dates of the oil were not printed on the bottles.
