Conference: Dubai Thalassaemia Centre shows way
The Dubai Thalassaemia Centre (DTC) participated in the 11th International Conference on Thalassaemia and Haemoglobinopathies and the 13th International Thalassaemia International Federation Conference for Patients and Parents (International TIF Conference for Thalassaemia 2008) held from October 8-12 in Singapore.
Dubai: The Dubai Thalassaemia Centre (DTC) participated in the 11th International Conference on Thalassaemia and Haemoglobinopathies and the 13th International Thalassaemia International Federation Conference for Patients and Parents (International TIF Conference for Thalassaemia 2008) held from October 8-12 in Singapore.
The delegation from DTC was led by Dr Khowla Bel Houl, director of the centre. The UAE federal government has a declared vision to make the country free from thalassaemia by 2012.
