Bodies of siblings who died of suspected food poisoning to be flown home
The bodies of Nathan, 5, and his sister Chelsea, 7, will finally be flown back to France for their burial.
Dubai: The bodies of Nathan, 5, and his sister Chelsea, 7, will finally be flown back to France for their burial.
Both children died of suspected food poisoning on June 12. Their bodies were released by the investigators Wednesday to their grieving parents Patrick and Anne-Sophie D'Souza who are still waiting to know what killed their two children.
It has been ten days since the death of the siblings who were rushed to the hospital after consuming food from a local restaurant but investigators are still to disclose what caused their death.
The children's father Patrick had earlier told Gulf News that he is confident that the local authorities will carry out a proper investigation.
Authorities involved in the investigations were the Dubai Municipality, Dubai Police, Dubai Health Authorities and the Public Prosecution.
Due to the lack of medical reasons for the death of the siblings, prosecutors had also ordered autopsies on the two bodies.
The restaurant from where the food was ordered by the family has been temporarily closed until the investigations are complete.
