Al Ain: The National Anti-drug campaign continues successfully, as the National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) receives tens of calls every day, commending their good work and asking for the campaign to carry its work to other parts of the country.
The campaign's exhibition at the Al Ain Commercial Centre was also well received by visitors who filled in survey forms related to the awareness of the public to the damaging effects of narcotics.
The NRC will study and analyse the results in cooperation with specialists, after which the results will be published this year.
The one-year 'Yes to Life' awareness drive is the largest and most comprehensive, multi-faceted anti-drug campaign of its kind in the Arab world, and has reached different sectors in the UAE society.
The campaign alerts members of the community against the dangers of drug addiction, educates them about the causes and includes treatment, rehabilitation and prevention methods.
