Abu Dhabi disease prevention and screening centres extend timings
The Disease Prevention and Screening Centres (DPSCs), a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), through its Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS) has added three extra working hours, effective from January 1, to keep up with medical care in public and private hospitals.

Abu Dhabi: The Disease Prevention and Screening Centres (DPSCs), a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA), through its Ambulatory Healthcare Services (AHS) has added three extra working hours, effective from January 1, to keep up with medical care in public and private hospitals.
DPSCs will now operate till 6pm daily.
They were introduced to streamline medical visa screening processes for the benefit and convenience of the expatriates residing in Abu Dhabi.
"AHS on the other hand, was formed to facilitate a combination of diagnostic and treatment services to hospitals and to raise the standard of healthcare across the capital city.
"Considering the expected growth in the number of screening applicants that we foresee during the next year, we see this decision as an appropriate solution to effectively cater to all expatriates' medical requirements.
"We constantly endeavour to increase awareness and enhance healthcare standards, and this initiative will assist us in achieving both these objectives," said Dr John L. Evangelista, director of SEHA-AHS.
Network
SEHA-AHS currently owns and operates eight hospital groups with a total of 14 hospitals and over 55 ambulatory and primary health clinics across the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
As part of the overall mission, SEHA-AHS aims to compare and benchmark themselves to international standards measured through accessibility, affordability, choice and patient satisfaction.
SEHA-AHS director Dr John L. Evangelista said the decision to extend hours was an appropriate solution by them to cater to all expatriates' medical requirements.
