Winners reaction
With a high voter turnout in both emirates, members of the Electoral College from Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah made their voices heard in the second round of the first nationwide elections.

With a high voter turnout in both emirates, members of the Electoral College from Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah made their voices heard in the second round of the first nationwide elections.
The seven winners expressed both surprise and delight at being elected.
"I did not expect to win, but this is the will of the people who elected me and it is a responsibility and I hope that I live up to it." - Hussain Al Sha'afar, Winner from Dubai
"Through the FNC, I hope to improve on the development that is currently taking place in the UAE." - Jamal Al Hai,
