University gets new chancellor
His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the American University of Sharjah (AUS), has approved the appointment of Dr Peter Heath as the third Chancellor of AUS as of August 1.

Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the American University of Sharjah (AUS), has approved the appointment of Dr Peter Heath as the third Chancellor of AUS as of August 1.
"Dr Heath was chosen for his highly qualified academic and administrative skills as he served as a scholar and administrator in both the United States and the Middle East," Shaikh Sultan said.
