Umm Al Quwain Ruler issues decree appointing Crown Prince
His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, has issued a decree appointing Shaikh Rashid Bin Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla as Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain.

- Shaikh Saud issued a decree appointing Shaikh Rashid as Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain. Emiri Decree No. 1 of 2009, which took effect on Tuesday is to be published in the official gazette.
Umm Al Quwain: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, yesterday sent a congratulatory cable to His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, for naming Shaikh Rashid Bin Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla as Crown Prince.
His Highness Shaikh Saqr Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, yesterday also sent a congratulatory cable to Shaikh Saud.
Shaikh Ahmad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Sharjah, sent similar cables to Shaikh Saud. Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, sent similar cables to Shaikh Saud.
