UAE Vice President receives King Abdullah of Jordan

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Wednesday received King Abdullah of Jordan at the Za'abeel Palace in Dubai.

Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Wednesday received King Abdullah of Jordan at the Za'abeel Palace in Dubai.

Shaikh Mohammad and King Abdullah discussed ways to further expand cooperation between the UAE and Jordan in various areas.

They also discussed Arab and international efforts to push the Middle East peace process.

Later Shaikh Mohammad hosted a banquet in honour of King Abdullah and members of the accompanying delegation.

Present at the meeting and the banquet were Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Ghurair, Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC), Shaikh Hashr Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Director of Dubai Media Department, Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, shaikhs and senior officials, UAE Ambassador to Jordan and Jordanian Ambassador to the UAE.

Later, the Jordanian King left the UAE, concluding his two-day visit.

He was seen off by Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid, Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid, Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid and senior officials.
