Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has ordered the release of 451 inmates from Dubai prisons on the occasions of the National Day and Eid Al Adha.

Essam Eisa Al Humaidan, Dubai Attorney General, appreciated Shaikh Mohammad's humanitarian gesture, adding that the Public Prosecution in cooperation with Dubai Police immediately started taking necessary arrangements to implement the decision.

All release procedures will be completed before the two holidays, Al Humaidan said, to allow the prisoners to celebrate with their families.

He congratulated the inmates included in the initiative and urged them to start a new stage and integrate with society to become active and beneficial members of their community.
