Abu Dhabi: Public sector employees in the UAE will be paid on August 22 to enable employees and their families to meet their needs before Eid Al Fitr.
Abu Dhabi Government announced on Wednesday that employees, the Armed Forces, police officers and their retired personnel will have their salaries transferred on August 22.
The order is in line with the orders of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the directives of General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, to provide the best level of services to citizens and expatriates.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai in his capacity as the Ruler of Dubai, has also ordered the payment of August salaries to Dubai government employees on August 22.
Meanwhile, His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, ordered that salaries be paid to government employees on August 22.
