Dubai: Celebrations for the 36th UAE National Day are taking place across the country.
The country is awash with colour, as parades, flags and brightly coloured illuminations appear everywhere in the UAE.
The festivities kick off in earnest at the weekend, with a series of events taking place in all of the major cities in the UAE on Sunday, December 2.
