UAE enhances ties with Africa

Abdullah says his visits were to boost cooperation with friendly nations

Abu Dhabi: Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, has said that his visit to a number of African countries was intended to build ties with friendly nations and enhance bilateral cooperation.

Shaikh Abdullah visited Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Sierra Leone, Lesotho, South Africa, Uganda, Tanzania and Mozambique.

He conveyed the greetings and best wishes of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Shaikh Abdullah also assured the leaders he met of the UAE's commitment to strong ties.
