UAE Cabinet nod for office to maintain transparency
The Cabinet, acting under the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has approved the establishment of a Government Communications Office.
Dubai: The Cabinet, acting under the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has approved the establishment of a Government Communications Office.
The office will function within the General Secretariat of the Cabinet.
Once commissioned, the office will substantially improve the internal and external communication channels in the federal government, and will ensure a high degree of transparency and accuracy of information passed among various ministries and other federal entities.
Minister of Cabinet Affairs Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi said the office will streamline communication among ministries, as it will enhance the team spirit within the federal machinery.
