UAE and China discuss bilateral ties

Abu Dhabi: The UAE and China on Sunday discussed bilateral relations and ways to boost them.

President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, yesterday separately received Chinese Defence Minister Liang Guanglie.

The Chinese minister delivered to Shaikh Khalifa a message from Chinese President Hu Jintao dealing with bilateral relations and ways to boost them, especially in the fields of military training and exchange of expertise and skills.

Shaikh Khalifa swore in a new judge who has been appointed to the Federal Supreme Court.
