Two-day private sector holiday for Eid Al Fitr announced
Private sector holiday for Eid Al Fitr will be on the first and second of Shawaal.

Abu Dhabi: Eid holidays for the private sector will be for two days, on the first and second of Shawaal, the Ministry of Labour announced Tuesday.
As the Hijri and Gregorian Calender dates are similar this month, if the Moon is sighted by the Moon-Sighting Committee on Tuesday, September 30, the first day of Eid will be October 1. But If the moon is sighted this Monday, the first day of Eid will be September 30.
