Sultan names new Sharjah Deputy Ruler
His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued an emiri decree naming Shaikh Abdullah Bin Salim Bin Sultan Al Qasimi as Deputy Ruler of Sharjah as of on Monday.

Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, issued an emiri decree naming Shaikh Abdullah Bin Salim Bin Sultan Al Qasimi as Deputy Ruler of Sharjah as of on Monday.
He is joining the sitting Deputy Rulers Shaikh Ahmad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi and Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi.
Shaikh Abdullah is also Deputy Chairman of Sharjah Executive Council. He is also the Chief of Emiri Court since 1991.
His Highness Shaikh Saqr Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah yesterday sent a congratulatory cable to Shaikh Abdullah on his appointment as Deputy Ruler of Sharjah.
Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, sent a similar cable to Shaikh Abdullah.
Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, has sent a cable of greetings to Shaikh Abdullah felicitating him on his appointment as the Deputy Ruler.
The Crown Prince expressed his happiness over this appointment, which he described as the right decision made by Dr Shaikh Sultan placing great trust on the new Deputy Ruler.
In his message, the Crown Prince described Shaikh Abdullah as an exemplary model of sincerity, dedication and loyalty to the emirate and the nation as a whole. He wished him all success in fulfilling his duties to the nation.
The Crown Prince assured his support to the Deputy Ruler in the march to progress.
