Shaikh Mohammad chairs cabinet meeting
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai chaired a cabinet meeting.

Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai chaired a cabinet meeting. It was attended by Shaikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, and Shaikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister.
The following appointments were approved: -
The National Communication Authority will be chaired by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mubarak Al Nahayan, Minister of Public works.
Emirates holding and Emirates Post will be chaired by Obaid Humaid Al Tayar, Minister of State for Financial Affairs.
The National Media Council will be chaired by Saqr Gubash, Minister of Labour while the Deputy Chairman will be Abdul Rahman Al Qwais, Minister of Cultural Youth and Community Development.
Khalifa Bakheet Al Falasi, Minister of State has been appointed chairman of the Civil Service department, the Electronic government and Emirates Telecommunication Establishment.
Dr. Maitha Salem Al Shamsi, Minister of State has been appointed as the chairperson of Marriage Fund.
Sultan Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy is appointed as the chairman of General Aviation Authority and Emirates Metrology and Standardization Authority.
Mohammad Bin Dhaen Al Gumzi has been appointed as chairman of Telecommunication Regulatory Authority.
Amhad Humaid Al Tayar is appointed chairman of National Resources Development Authority.
Dr. Ali Bin Abdullah Al Kaa'bi has been appointed as chairman of Red Crescent Authority (RCA).
The Cabinet also approved the use of Arabic as the official language in all Federal Authority and establishment across the UAE.
The Cabinet also approved the setting up of Education Coordination and Integration Council in UAE.
The cabinet also approved an agreement signed between UAE and France regarding developing peaceful use of Nuclear Energy.
The UAE joined the protocol to prohibit combat and punish human trafficking especially of children and women in supplement to the United Nations agreement to combat organised crime.
