Shaikh Khalifa receives letters from Kuwait and Morocco leaders

Al Ain: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Wednesday received handwritten letters from King Mohammad VI of Morocco and Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber, Emir of Kuwait.

The letters deal with bilateral relations, and issues of mutual concern in the light of recent developments and updates on both the regional and international issues.

The Moroccan King's letter was delivered to Shaikh Khalifa at Al Rawda Palace by Tayyeb Al Fasi Al Fehri, the Moroccan King's Advisor and Envoy. Shaikh Khalifa conveyed his greetings for King Mohammad, and his wishes for more progress and prosperity for the people of Morocco.

Later, Shaikh Khalifa received a letter from Shaikh Sabah, which was delivered at Al Rawda Palace by Shaikh Nasser Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber, Minister of Kuwaiti Emir's Court's Affairs and envoy of Shaikh Sabah.

Shaikh Khalifa conveyed his greetings for Shaikh Sabah, and his wishes for more progress and prosperity for the people of Kuwait.

Upon concluding his short visit to the UAE, Shaikh Nasser was seen off at the airport by Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, and other senior officials.

The meetings were attended by Shaikh Mansour, Shaikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President's Representative, Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Shaikh Tahnoun Bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region, and other Shaikhs and senior officials.
