RAK Crown Prince pardons 83 prisoners
Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has pardoned 83 prisoners of different nationalities at the emirate's punitive and reformatory establishments.

Some prisoners will be deported on Saturday. Shaikh Saud ordered the creation of a commission at the courts to look into the situation of some inmates who have been sentenced to prison for failing to pay debts.
Head of the Courts department Ahmad Mohammad Al Khateri said the amnesty which marks the fifth anniversary of Saikh Saud's assumption of office, also aims at reuniting prisoners with their families.
