Mulitiple visas will attract more tourists
Now cruise tourists are eligible for multiple entries
The DP World is expanding Mina Rashid’s capacity to continue its leading position as the largest cruise centre in the Middle East, and to cater for as many as five cruise ships at one time.
“This is a very positive move that will make a tangible difference to the cruise industry in Dubai and in the UAE and therefore to economic growth. We thank the Government of the UAE including His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Lt. General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, for this initiative,” said Bin Sulayem.
Mohammad Al Muallem, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the DP World, UAE Region said that the multiple-entry visit visas for cruise tourists will smooth the way for the cruise lines and their passengers and allow Dubai and the UAE to compete more effectively with other cruise destinations. “We look forward to welcoming more cruise ships at Mina Rashid in Dubai, as we expand capacity there, reinforcing Mina Rashid’s position as the premier regional cruise terminal,” he added.
