Dubai: The phenomenal progress Dubai has been witnessing in economic, health, sports, cultural, tourism and social fields is the result of the wise and visionary leadership of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, made the statement on the occasion of the third anniversary of Shaikh Mohammad's accession.
"Dubai, under Shaikh Mohammad's leadership, became a workshop of ongoing hard work in all the basic and support sectors," Shaikh Maktoum said.
Shaikh Maktoum said that investment in human capital was the main concern of Shaikh Mohammad, who considers human resources the main pillar of a modern state.

Highlighting Shaikh Mohammad's words, he said: "A government is not an authority over the people, but it is meant to serve them, and the success of a government is measured by customer satisfaction."
Shaikh Maktoum explained that Shaikh Mohammad's future outlook is one of the main features of his strategy, which stems from his strong belief that there is no time to stop or rest in the race for progress and success.
Continuing race
"The race still continues, progress is still our aim, and we seek to enhance what we already achieved to match Shaikh Mohammad's expectations and realise his vision," Shaikh Maktoum said.
