Mohammad receives Omani minister
General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, yesterday received Yousuf Bin Alawi Bin Abdullah, Omani Minister in Charge of Foreign Affairs and his accompanying delegation.

Abu Dhabi: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, yesterday received Yousuf Bin Alawi Bin Abdullah, Omani Minister in Charge of Foreign Affairs and his accompanying delegation.
The Omani minister conveyed greetings from Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed of Oman to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Shaikh Mohammad welcomed Bin Abdullah and praised the deep-rooted ties between the UAE and Oman and the level of cooperation between them in line with the sincere wish of the leaderships of both countries.
Shaikh Mohammad asked Bin Abdullah to convey the greetings of Shaikh Khalifa to Sultan Qaboos.
He welcomed the outcomes of the UAE-Oman Higher Joint Committee meetings in Muscat last week and reiterated the UAE's keenness on utilising all means and mechanisms to boost the historic brotherly ties between their countries in a way that take them to broader horizons.
Shaikh Mohammad and Bin Abdullah discussed bilateral ties and ways to enhance them in all fields, and exchanged views on the march of the Gulf Cooperation Council and issues of mutual concern.
The meeting was attended by a number of shaikhs, ministers and senior officials from both sides.
