Mohammad leads high-level delegation for visit to UK

Shaikh Mohammad will meet Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and officials from Commonwealth countries and Britain.

London &  Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, arrived in London on Sunday night on an official visit to Britain.

He will meet Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom and officials from Commonwealth countries and Britain.

Shaikh Mohammad, accompanied by a high-level delegation, will discuss with Gordon Brown, British Prime Minister, ways to strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation between the UAE and Britain.

The delegation includes Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and CEO of Emirates airline and Group, Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Reem Ebrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State, Mohammad Ebrahim Al Shaibani, Director-General of Dubai Ruler's Court, Ahmad Humaid Al Tayer, Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), and Abdul Rahman Al Mutaiwee, UAE Ambassador to the United Kingdom.

Shaikh Mohammad was seen off at Dubai airport by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, Shaikh Majid Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture, other shaikhs and senior officials.
