Mohammad Bin Rashid arrives in Bahrain on a friendly visit

His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Wednesday arrived in the Bahraini capital on a friendly visit.

Manama: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Wednesday arrived in the Bahraini capital on a friendly visit.

Upon arrival, Shaikh Mohammad inspected the Guard of Honour and was given a warm welcome by King Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa and other Bahraini top officials, including Shaikh Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Commander General of Bahrain Defence Force, ministers, other senior civilian and military officials and Abdul Aziz Bin Hadif Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain.

King Hamad welcomed members of the delegation accompanying Shaikh Mohammad, including Shaikh Ahmed Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Foundation for Events Management and Organisation, Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affair and other senior economic, civilian and military officials.

King Hamad hosted a lunch banquet in honour of Shaikh Mohammad and accompanying delegation at the Kudhaiba Royal Palace.

Shaikh Mohammad and King Hamad held talks on ways to further promote relations between the two sisterly countries.
