Mohammad and Kazakh president discuss ties
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, yesterday held talks with visiting President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan, who is currently on a visit to the UAE.

Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, yesterday held talks with visiting President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan, who is currently on a visit to the UAE.
Shaikh Mohammad welcomed the Kazakh leader and wished that the visit would contribute to establishing an economic partnership between the UAE and Kazakhstan.
He said the meeting with the Kazakh President gave him a good chance to exchange latest global developments and ways to establish distinguished relations and joint cooperation based on mutual respect and interests.
The Vice-President said the UAE, particularly Dubai, is ready to put its experience at the service of Kazakhstan to help it push its march of development and modernisation forward.
Nazarbayev expressed his happiness at visiting the UAE and exchanging views with its leaders. He praised the UAE's achievements and its fast development.
The Kazakh leader invited Shaikh Mohammad to visit Kazakhstan. Shaikh Mohammad accepted the invitation. Later, Shaikh Mohammad took the Kazakh leader on a tour of Dubai, and then hosted a lunch banquet in his honour.
Present at the meeting were Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai City of Aviation Establishment and Chairman and CEO of Emirates group, Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Technology and Media Free Zone Authority, other shaikhs, ministers and senior officials.
