Ministers urged to double efforts towards excellence
His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Thursday urged ministers, senior officials and current and former heads of departments to double efforts and work toward greater excellence and innovation.

- Shaikh Mohammad received on Thursday Shaikh Mohammad Bin Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, who called on Shaikh Mohammad to offer Ramadan greetings. Also present were Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Thursday urged ministers, senior officials and current and former heads of departments to double efforts and work toward greater excellence and innovation.
Shaikh Mohammad expressed his satisfaction with the improvement in government services in the short period since he formed the current Cabinet.
"This is just the beginning and the Cabinet has a lot of work to do for citizens and the country," said Shaikh Mohammad.
Shaikh Mohammad received Thursday Shaikh Bin Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, who called on Shaikh Mohammad to offer Ramadan greetings.
Also present at the meeting at Za'abeel Palace in Dubai were Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai's Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA), Chairman of Dubai Airports and Chairman and Chief Executive, Emirates airline and Group, Shaikh Rashid Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the National Olympic Committee, Shaikh Majid Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Shaikh Saeed Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Shaikh Hasher Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Director General of the Dubai Department of Information.
An iftar banquet was hosted by Shaikh Mohammad for shaikhs, ministers and senior officials.
Shaikh Mohammad and his guests performed the sunset prayers together.
