Leaders attend wedding banquet
President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Monday attended a lunch banquet held to celebrate the wedding of Shaikh Khalid Bin Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Monday attended a lunch banquet held to celebrate the wedding of Shaikh Khalid Bin Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The banquet was also attended by Their Highnesses the Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the emirates, Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers, top government officials and dignitaries. Shaikh Khalifa and Shaikh Mohammad also received on Monday Philippines President Gloria Arroyo, who arrived in Abu Dhabi on the first leg of a regional tour.
Shaikh Khalifa received former French President Jaques Chirac and discussed friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Meanwhile, Shaikh Mohammad met Senator Max Baucus, Chairman of the US Senate Finance Committee, and exchanged views on economic, financial and political issues.
