King of Jordan King Abdullah II receives Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed
President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan greetings conveyed in meeting
Amman: King Abdullah II of Jordan received on Sunday Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Foreign Minister, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, which was held at the Dead Sea region.
Shaikh Abdullah conveyed to King Abdullah greetings from President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
King Abdullah praised his country’s progressive fraternal ties with the UAE. He also referred to the unlimited support given by the UAE, under the wise leadership of Shaikh Khalifa, to Jordan and the assistance provided to enable Jordan cope with the influx of over 500,000 Syrian refugees.
shaikh Abdullah reiterated the strong and deep-rooted ties and partnership between the UAE and Jordan and their mutual keenness to serve the interests of both countries.
The meeting touched on the recent developments in Syria and the Middle East peace efforts.
