Khalifa: Take effective decisions
President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan called for coming up with effective decisions that live up to the challenges facing the Arab nation.

Riyadh: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan called for coming up with effective decisions that live up to the challenges facing the Arab nation.
"The challenges facing the Arab Summit should not overshadow the promising potentials of our Arab nation," Shaikh Khalifa said in a statement upon arrival in Riyadh to participate in the 19th Arab Summit, which opens today.
He also called for formulating a common and firm Arab position to achieve Arab solidarity and overcome the challenges facing the joint Arab action.
Shaikh Khalifa said: "We are confident that Arab leaders share with us the keen interest in making this summit a new turning point in the joint Arab action.
Remove barriers
"The experiences that we have been through have always proved that our strength lies with our solidarity and ability to face the dangers that threaten our nation with one Arab stand."
"We urgently need to work with sincere intensions to achieve a real and effective Arab solidarity and remove barriers that block the joint Arab action and come up with firm decisions that live up to the challenges we are facing." Shaikh Khalifa said.
