Khalifa sends condolences to Russian President
President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a cable of condolences to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on the death of Andrey Zakharov, Russian Ambassador to the UAE, who died in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a cable of condolences to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev on the death of Andrey Zakharov, Russian Ambassador to the UAE, who died in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
"With deep regret and sorrow, I received the sad news of the passing of Ambassador Andrey Zakharov, who played a commendable role in strengthening our bilateral relations. I wish to express by heartfelt condolences to you and the family of the deceased," said the President in his cable.
Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the Russian Foreign Minister.
