Khalifa reiterates firm support during talks with Abbas

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Monday held talks with visiting Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
They discussed the latest developments in Palestine, in the presence of General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Accords
Shaikh Khalifa reiterated the UAE's firm stand in support of peace in the region and the establishment of a Palestinian state in line with concluded accords and the Arab peace initiative.
The president called on all Palestinians to resort to reason and put the interest of the nation first to reach their target.
Meanwhile, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak arrived to the UAE yesterday on a two-day official visit.
He was received at the airport by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
