Abu Dhabi: A delegation from the Federal National Council (FNC) will meet with senior Egyptian officials in Cairo during an official visit, which starts on Monday.
The delegation, led by FNC Speaker Abdullah Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair, will meet speaker of the Egyptian People's Assembly (Parliament) Ahmad Fathi Suroor.
The meeting will discuss ways to further boost parliamentary relations between the UAE and Egypt. It will also touch upon regional and international issues of mutual concern.
Al Ghurair said the upcoming visit is part of FNC's efforts to promote the concept of ‘parliamentary diplomacy' as a tool for bolstering bilateral relations.
