Abu Dhabi: The Emirates Identity Authority (Emirates ID) has announced that its headquarters has moved from its current location in Mazyad Mall building in Mohammad Bin Zayed City to its permanent premises in Khalifa City. All the Emirates ID staff will work from the new headquarters with effect from February 1.
Emirates ID has called upon all its strategic partners and stakeholders to visit the new headquarters, or call the main number 024955555 or get in touch via any of the authority’s 14 communication channels.
Mosabah Al Mesmari, Executive Director of Corporate Services and Support at Emirates ID, has stressed that all the necessary logistical and technical preparations are complete at the new headquarters as directed by the Governing Board headed by Shaikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser. “The new headquarters occupies 20,000 square metres. The administration office consists of six floors comprising 250 offices. There is a special wing for the governing board, in addition to several service facilities such as training, conference and meeting halls, health club, prayer room, cafeteria, etc,” he said.
The new headquarters is built in tune with the concept of green buildings. It is designed to reduce the carbon footprint drastically. The sustainability standards implemented in the building are consistent with the UAE Vision 2021 in this regard, Al Mesmari pointed out.
The new headquarters, located on Street 12 in Khalifa City near Al Forsan Resort, also has ample parking for employees and visitors.
