Dubai: Staff from the Community Development Authority (CDA) participated in a workshop facilitated by the Expo 2020 bid team this week as part of the UAE’s campaign to garner support for the country’s bid to host the 2020 World Expo in Dubai.

Briefing sessions have been organised for government departments across the UAE, with the latest one being for the CDA staff to provide them with background on this important national effort.
“The 2020 World Expo represents a unique opportunity for Dubai and the UAE to share our story with the world — including how we successfully promote both local identity and social cohesion in this truly global city,” Khalid Al Kamda, CDA Director General, said.
