Abdullah continues on European tour
UAE Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan continued with his whirlwind European tour and visited Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Estonia, Macedonia, Georgia, Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus and others.

European Capitals: UAE Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan continued with his whirlwind European tour and visited Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Estonia, Macedonia, Georgia, Turkey, Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus and others.
He discussed cooperation and friendship ties in all fields. These include economic, tourist, cultural, agricultural, educational, energy and information technology areas. He also conveyed the regards of the UAE leadership to officials in those countries.
He stressed the need to boost relations and cooperation between UAE firms and businesses in the countries he visited.
He added that the UAE was a tourism and business hub to those countries due to its stability and security.
He also added that the UAE had signed several economic agreements with those countries. The agreements include those on trade, technology, investment protection, elimination of double taxation and the setting up of free trade zones.
Shaikh Abdullah began his European tour in Croatia. He met Croatian President Stepan Mesic, Croatia's water and urban planning minister and deputy foreign minister.
From there, Shaikh Abdullah went to Bosnia-Herzegovina and was received by Bosnian President Haris Silajdzic and his foreign trade minister.
The UAE delegation invited Bosnian businesspeople to visit the UAE to benefit from untapped investment opportunities.
Shaikh Abdullah then visited Montenegro where he met President Filip Vujanovic, his prime minister and foreign minister.
Shaikh Abdullah also exchanged views with officials on a number of the regional and international issues.
Shaikh Abdullah then met Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha and the country's foreign minister. They discussed the bolstering of trade and economic ties through economic and investment partnership.
From Albania, Shaikh Abdullah visited Macedonia, where he met his Macedonian counterpart, Antonio Milososki. They discussed the creation of new avenues for enhancing cooperation and friendship ties in all areas.
In Estonia, Shaikh Abdullah was received by his counterpart Urmas Paet.
Shaikh Abdullah also visited Georgia, where he received by Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili and the prime minister.
In Armenia, Shaikh Abdullah was received by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and he signed two agreements on mutual pre-entry visit visa exemptions for holders of the diplomatic passports and the exchange of land grants for setting up diplomatic missions.
Shaikh Abdullah also met with his Turkish counterpart Ahmad Davutoglu. He said his visit was to explore trade and investment opportunities in Turkey.
In Bulgaria, Shaikh Abdullah met Bulgarian foreign minister Ivailo Kalfin. The discussed energy issues in particular.
In Greece, Shaikh Abdullah was received by Greek President Karolos Papoulias. They agreed to extend cooperation in areas of culture and discussed renewable energy issues.
