Zayed University graduation ceremony tonight
Zayed University's second graduation ceremony takes place tonight at the National Theatre. Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Wife of the President and Chairman of the UAE General Women's Union, will attend.
Dr. Hanif Hassan, Vice President of Zayed University, said: "Tonight 592 graduates will be honoured in Abu Dhabi and Dubai campuses and from the six colleges of Arts & Sciences, Education, Information Systems, Business Sciences, Family Sciences, and Communication & Media Sciences.
"The university is very keen to make the graduation ceremony a distinctive celebration that expresses the academic and scientific progress of the UAE under the wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the advanced programmes of Zayed University since its inception.
"The university's academic programmes embody the six learning disciplines of Information Literacy and Communication, Information Technology, Critical Thinking and Reasoning, Global Awareness, Teamwork, Leadership."
Dr. Hanif said the university has seen significant progress in its programmes, curriculum, courses and majors which meet the labour market demands and adhere to the instructions of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, President of Zayed University.
