UK business team eyeing opportunities
Business opportunities in Dubai and the rest of the region are being sought by many UK companies.
Currently, the One North East Trade Mission is visiting Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
The delegates, from 17 British companies, came to the UAE on January 14 and will leave on January 20. The group, which includes cables, hydraulic goods, and hospitality equipment companies, will also visit Qatar.
Additionally, a British trade mission has been organised by the Middle East Association for a tour of Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE and Oman.
The companies taking part in the tour will visit the GCC countries from January 16 to February 6. The group will be in Dubai and Abu Dhabi from January 27 to February 2.
Meanwhile, 30 companies from Britain are taking part in Intersec which will be held at the Dubai International Exhib-ition Centre from January 27-29.
The group of companies from Britain have been organised by the British Security Industry Association with the backing of Trade Partners UK.
