UAE combats human trafficking
Interior ministry undersecretary receives US delegation on human trade
Abu Dhabi: The UAE is exerting tremendous efforts to combat human trafficking, said Lieutenant General Saif Abdullah Al Sha'afar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, on Wednesday when he met a delegation from the US Department of State.
The delegation is led by Luis CdeBaca, US Ambassador, who was assigned to draft the department's report on human trafficking and coordinate US government activities in the fight against human trafficking.
Al Sha'afar welcomed the delegation in the presence of a number of Interior Ministry officers concerned, and conveyed the greetings of Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
