Boat, carrying two Jordanian and three Palestinians, was damaged
Dubai: Two people were severely injured on Friday afternoon, when their fishing boat collided with a ship on Dubai Creek.
The five friends on board went fishing at 4am on Friday morning and it has been reported that they were tired by the afternoon.
Two other friends were moderately injured while the fifth sustained a mild inury.
The boat, carrying two Jordanian and three Palestinian people, was damaged, and the ship was mildly damaged in the collision.
The incident occurred 30 miles into Dubai Creek, according to Captain Yahya Hussain, Director, Sea Rescue Department, Dubai Police.
Two rescue units attended the scene and the injured were taken to hospital for treatment.
