Dubai: A team of racing drivers put a smile on the faces of special needs children at the Dubai Autodrome on Friday.

Mohammad Bin Sulayem, former Middle East rally champion and Shaikh Hasher Al Maktoum, Olympic Gold Medalist together with a group of racing drivers took some 200 special needs children for a 150km/h ride down the drag strip and thrill rides in autotest cars where they experienced 360 degrees turn and some serious skid action.

Some 1,000 people participated in the event, which is organized by the Special Need Awareness Programme (SNAP), to support special need children and give them a day they will never forget.
