Third annual robotics Olympiad postponed and will be held on October 13 in Abu Dhabi
The Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), in partnership with Edutech Middle East, will host the third annual National Robotics Olympiad 2008 on October 13 at Al Mawaheb Model School for Girls, Abu Dhabi.
Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Education Council (ADEC), in partnership with Edutech Middle East, will host the third annual National Robotics Olympiad 2008 on October 13 at Al Mawaheb Model School for Girls, Abu Dhabi.
The event, originally scheduled for October 6, has been postponed due to Eid Al Fitr holidays.
The Olympiad is a unique competition for school students to explore the world of robotics. Teams of young students solve a few basic problems within a fixed time using a set of standard equipments.
This year's Olympiad will see competition in two categories: open and regular.
A panel of judges will select top team in each category, to represent the UAE in Yokohama, Japan, at the World Robotics Olympiad.
The World Robot Olympiad is a robot-design competition for the Asia-Pacific region. The competition will be held from October 31, to November 2.
