Sponsors to name 23 Dubai Metro stations
The Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai, on Monday launched a project to brand 23 out of the 47 stations of the Dubai Metro light railway.
Dubai: The Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai, on Monday launched a project to brand 23 out of the 47 stations of the Dubai Metro light railway.
As per the project, Dubai Naming Rights project, companies can sponsor stations and name them. The money generated from the project will be used to finance public projects, said Mattar Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and Executive Director of Roads and Transport Authority (RTA).
Bidding for the project will open on April 15 and companies can sponsor a station for around 10 years.
