Fujairah: Six labourers are recovering in a hospital after the vehicle they were traveling in veered off the road late on Saturday evening, ending up in a deep ditch near Al Farfar, Fujairah.

The six labourers of various nationalities were taken to Fujairah Hospital with injuries varying between serious and medium, but all are in stable conditions, hospital sources said.

The labourers were traveling in a pick-up vehicle driven by a 39-year-old Egyptian, who is thought to have been driving without due care and attention, according to a police source.

All six are thought to be employees of a stone crushing company based near the accident site.
