Scores belonging to different nationalities embrace Islam
About 100 individuals accept faith in October, Dar Al Bir charity says
Dubai: About 100 individuals embraced Islam in October, according to a statement issued by the Dar Al Bir charity Foundation in Dubai.
Yousuf Al Saeed, Head of the Islamic Information Centre, said that the centre is witnessing great strides and many people from different nationalities residing in the UAE convert to Islam every day.
He also added that scores of expatriates visit the centre every day to listen to the teachings of Islam and many convert by the blessing of God.
Al Saeed added that the people converting to Islam are sent to specialists who answer their questions.
There are also a number of experts (Douat), who call people to Islam and are specialised in this area and capable of answering questions new believers may have. The Douat are from both genders.
Translated tapes
Books, translated tapes, lessons and lectures are given to people to teach them Islam as well. The centre also teaches the Arabic language for believers to understand the language of the Quran.
